Indian Summer Rendezvous Beef Chili Cook-off Official Rules

1.True chili is defined as any kind of meat, cooked with chili peppers and various
other spices. Other ingredients such as beans may be used at the discretion of the
cook.

2.Each recipe must use BEEF as its only.

3.Ingredients may be pre-cooked, but the chili recipe must be made at the cook-off site.
preparation at 8:00 am, so the chili is ready for judging at 11:00am.

4.Each team can have 2 cooks and 1 assistant only.

5.Contestants are responsible for supplying all of their own cooking utensils. Electrical
outlets will be available, but contestants must furnish their own 50'-100' heavy-duty
extension cord. One cord per roaster, but electrical strips should not be used.

6.Each contestant must cook 2 electric roasters of chili or approximately 5 gallons.

7.There will be a panel of three judges and the decision by the Judges will be final.

Prizes:

First Place: $100.00 and Plaque
Second Place: $50.00
Third Place: $30.00
Fourth Place: $20.00

Cleanup:Complete by 2:00 pm
